Anti-Semitism: Long Before and After Nazis
This map displays the expulsion of Jews from 1100-1600AD. The Jewish people have been expelled from many countries throuhogut history and they have been expelled various times. Often in elementary, middle, and high schools the narrative of Jewish suffering revolves solely around World War II and the Holocaust. The reality is that the story is much longer and more complicated.
Your task is to go to the following website . You will survey the most recent acts of violence, bigotry, and intimidation directed at Jewish people throughout the world. Your job is to try and find out more information about the incident. Then you will create a short YouTube video detailing the events as they transpired. You will post your video online at classroom.google.com. Here you will be able to look at various other students presentations. You must chose an event that is different from that of your classmates.
